right now my league offers an option to Hide Keepers, but the Hide Owned is not activated. the league commissioner is not sure how to activate the feature. can someone help?
your league isn't "offering" those options - they are part of the program. The "My Rankings" page is for you & you alone - no one can see it except you & no one can turn it off or on except you. The commissioner has nothing to do with it. There is no option for the commissioner to "hide keepers" - he can only do that on his own page, just like you. Take a minute & think about what you're asking - how could anyone "hide" the owned players when they're right there on every team page?
I am surprised you do not know what I am talking about, given your experience in flea. On the My Rankings page, every league I have checked has an option available to Hide Keepers. That means any player marked as a keeper will not show in the list which I have available to rank.
On some of my leagues there is also an option to Hide Owned, which if selected will remove any player that is owned from the list I wish to rank.
I have to conclude that there is an option which allows a commissioner to either turn on that option or not. My commissioner does not know how to turn it on, and I am asking for help in doing so. These options, as well as the whole My Rankings page is only accessible before a team has completed the draft, so I am thinking the on/off switch is somewhere in the instructions for running the draft.
I know exactly what you're talking about & you did not either read or comprehend my answer. the "My Rankings" draft board is yours alone. The commissioner has ZERO ability to affect it in any way. Period. No one else can see your draft board. No one else - no one. It's yours. You're not listening here. There is NO commissioner setting that has anything to do with your Rankings. None. i know exactly what it looks like - I implement it myself. I run 47 dynasty leagues on here & know every setting & I'm telling you for a fact what you're asking about has no meaning. can you help me understand the difference between the two examples I showed you? the first offers two options: Hide Keepers, and Hide Owned. the second only offers one option, Hide Keepers.
if the "Hide owned" does not work or is missing it's bc the league has not drafted yet & there are no players owned. That's the only reason I can think why it's not listed. It can't list "owned" players if there aren't any. If your league has drafted & the rosters are populated, the "hide owned" button should be there & should work. If that's the case, there's an error with the Fleaflicker program & you need to put in a customer service ticket. good luck.
I thought maybe it was because it is a new league and just now drafting, and as you say you cannot own a player before the draft. But you also cannot keep a player. And after the draft you cannot access the My Rankings page at all. I have written to flea fror some assistance. (Being able to hide players already drafted is very helpful when updating rankings as the draft proceeds.)
that's correct, once the draft has started you cannot access "My Rankings" - it's locked. the purpose of that feature is for a manager to set his rankings in advance - to have them organized for when the draft starts, not for accessing during the draft. I doubt highly they'll make any changes to that program.
actually, the My Rankings feature is available until the draft is completed. it allows a manager to adjust their rankings as the situation changes throughout the draft.
that would be pretty simple, wouldn't it? the problem is that the option to Hide Owned is not available. the question is what the commish has to do to make the option available.

I have a league that hasn't drafted yet & just checked the settings - the "Hide Owned" button is not there - because there are no owned players yet.
