There have been too many problems lately and after many years here I sadly say I may have to take my leagues to another site.
Opening week and the site was down on Thursday and now today on Sunday. I got multiple text and AIM messages from team owners that could not make team adjustments.
The best bet is to have the commish put the best lineup ( players with the most points in) for each team. The only other thing is not to count week one
I am going to post a league vote in my league to see if that is OK with everyone. It seems it was only for the 4:00 games so I don't know how many players were affected in my league.
Same here everyone in my league is drilling me with hate texts. The site has been spotty all week then moreso this morning until it seemed to shut down completely around 3:15 today and just came back up around 4:30. Guys couldn't adjust their rosters for the 4pm games and they are looking to me for answers. What should I tell these guys? They (including myself) couldn't make roster adjustments and some may lose their matchups because of this.
It's unacceptable for this to happen during such a critical time. What am I supposed to tell these guys that are claiming they've been cheated I dunno?
Yeah this was horrible timing. I am the commissioner of a league I brought here a few seasons ago. I belong to 2 leagues here and I had inactive guys in both of them. I wanted to switch them out when the inactives were announced an hour ago. Now I finally get in and it is too late.
Even so that's just one example. Once I heard Justin Tuck was inactive I wanted to swap out NYG TM but I couldn't connect.
The site has been having connectivity issues for a while now I find it hard to believe that tech support didn't know about this problem. I'd like to know why it wasn't addressed before something like this happened. I'm also worried that this may be a recurring problem. It took an hour to reboot the servers and get them back online today at such a critical time but the glitch that caused the issue itself will still be there.
It would be nice to get an update from the tech support staff on just what the issue is and how/when it will be resolved.
I had Tuck in one league and Hawthorne in another, so it was several players that this affected. I agree with Mr.Poon. Tech Support should be making an announcement as to what is being done to correct this.

I was still able to get in the site well into the one o'clock games. You should have been able to switch Foster.

I am not sure about ESPN, but Yahoo's league set up is horrible. I brought my league here from Yahoo, for the flexibility in the scoring set up.
