It depends on your league. Go to Rules -> Prevent Cuts After Game Start... If it's set to Yes, you will not be able to. If it's set to No, you can cut bench players whenever you want and starters the next day.
In your league, it's set to Yes (which is recommended), so you would not be able to drop him until next week as he will lock for Week 14 - fleaflicker.com
