This will be my first Fantasy football season using Fleaflicker, so I would like a little clarification please. To my understanding, a Defensive TD is one of the following:
Blocked FG Return TD
Missed FG Return TD
Fumble Return TD
INT Return TD
Blocked Punt Return TD
If I decide to just keep the scoring rule as Defensive TD, when a defense scores a Fumble Return TD for example, will the scoring description show up as "Defensive TD" or "Fumble Return TD"? The reason I'm asking is because I would like all Defensive TDs to specify the type of TD it actually is. I understand that if I create all of these individual Defensive TDs rules plus I add Defensive TD, I will have double scoring, which I do not want. So, it's EITHER Defensive TD OR all 5 of the individual Defensive TD rules, correct? I assume the same goes for the Blocked Kicks. Again, my concern is strictly on how the scoring description appears. I would rather it specify "Blocked FG" rather than "Blocked Kick". Hope that makes sense.
You have it right in terms of how we score the points. The description you'll see is based on your rule. So if you have a defensive TD rule, it won't specify the type of play that was scored in the description/breakdown (fumble, INT return), as you'd have to directly have those rules in for them to be spelled out. Same for blocked kicks, correct. It will say blocked kick if that's your rule. You would have to include all the types of blocks and not the generic blocked kick to show the type of kick.
After setting up your rules, you can go to Players and select a player or team from last year to test this out by selecting their points breakdown too.

Hi Eric,
Welcome to Fleaflicker!
You have it right in terms of how we score the points. The description you'll see is based on your rule. So if you have a defensive TD rule, it won't specify the type of play that was scored in the description/breakdown (fumble, INT return), as you'd have to directly have those rules in for them to be spelled out. Thanks again and we are happy to have you!
