Guys, this change you've made to the rotowire updates is not going to go well. You're trying to make us pay for something we used to get for free. I'm inclined to just move my league to ESPN and I can't imagine I'm the only one. This site is getting worse and this is nothing more than a money-grabbing endeavor. Please fix this or my leagues will not be here next season, as is undoubtedly the case with many others.
Totally hear you on this. There's nothing I can say to make you happy about the change but I do want to try to explain our situation and why we made the change.
First, all core game functionality and features are free and always will be. We're never going to charge you to unlock a critical piece of functionality for your league.
When it comes to extras like player news, rankings, advice, projections, etc we provide those free to our users whenever possible. Last season player news and fantasy analysis were free because we had a contract in place that allowed it. That's no longer possible so we made the best compromise we could--free news with a paid upgrade to get the extra analysis that goes with it.
We've always tried to be open about how we operate and the changes we make. And we're always open to feedback. If there's something else we can do to improve this situation, we'll do it.
I understand what you're saying and I can appreciate that you need to make money. $25 seems exorbitant to me but if that's why you have to do, it's up to you.
Hello! We recently became aware that ESPN is offering similar articles for free, but that content is not actually free to us -- we do have to pay the original news provider for it. There is no blatant pulling from another site occurring on the site. Also, there are other insight reports that are included with the Edge subscription that are unique to Fleaflicker. If you are unhappy with your Edge subscription and wish to cancel it, just let me know -- I'd be happy to help you!

I don't think taking them away makes that much of a difference, and I am surprised you guys would consider switching sites just for that. You can buy their crappy membership on the side if you like it so much.
All, I'd like to point out that while this is an unfortunate change, none of us are strapped to continue getting the news from this site. Rotowire is garbage anyway. I highly suggest you guys start going to Rotoworld instead. Better analysis, more news and quicker news. Been using it for going on a decade now and I'll never use anything else. This way, you still can use FleaFlicker without any worries and you won't have to deal with RotoWire.

The "extra analysis" is FREE on ESPN. You're just pulling your "competitive edge" information straight from ESPN player pages.

Have to agree. I am already getting complaints from league members. Most likely will be on the move to a new site if it doesn't change
