How do I manually change playoff schedule? We have two divisions and want (I think) a bracketed tournament so bracket games stay within the division until the title game (Similar to AFC/NFC in NFL).

The current schedule isn't correct (at least the round two part of the bracket).

I just (a few moments ago) changed from a reseeded tournament to not reseeded. I try changing the initial seeds but it still didn't seem to change anything.

What league are you referring to so I can try and help you out. Let's take it step by step so we're both on the same page.

1. Playoff Schedule

You can change the playoff schedule by going to: Commish Options>Edit Playoff Seeds -- this will move your initial seeds around and change the schedule thereafter.

2. Divisional Path->Championship

Some leagues will be able to do this if you have a small playoff bracket, but the real large leagues will have trouble following it and may not logistically be able to. You can tweak with your bracket by changing the playoff schedule like I explained above and then looking at the tree.

We offer two options:

We only offer two playoff systems, and this might not follow exactly what you want, meaning the divisional path the whole way through (if you send me your league I can try and get it to work, but it is tricky and will not always work):

a) Re-seed to NO: A structured classic NCAA basketball tournament bracket like system where you can't reseed teams or move teams around throughout the playoffs after -- it's fixed in place.

b) Re-seed to YES: The highest seed is always going to play the lowest seed advancing every round (like the NFL does in their conferences).

You can only edit this and make these changes during the first week of the playoffs (so this week if your playoffs start Week 14).

If you can seed your bracket by division in "a)" above and select NO to re-seeding, you will have a divisional path to the championship.

It does not give me the option to seed by bracket that I can see (The Divisional Path).

I also don't think the Re-Seed Yes/No option will impact us, only because I want to go by Divisional Path and we only have 3 playoff weeks with a first round bye (6 teams in playoffs)
