First you need to create the teams. Commish Options>Create a Team...
It's a bit too late in the NHL season to be doing this as the regular season is basically over. My best suggestion is if you want to start now, would be wait a few weeks, join a league, or use your created one, and then you can go ahead and play.
You can add players by drafting or importing them. Use the Commish Options and your options on the top right right for a draft. You can also use the Players tab to add players as well.

I`m new to Fleaflicker, and I just created my league. I want to know how to add players to my roster, and how to select goalies to add.
