I would like to know if there is anyway to get an IR list? As it is now I have 2 empty spots on every team just for injuries, only problem is that is to hard to make sure the player is really hurt.

Thanx for any and all help.

You said that an owner will not be able to conduct roster transactions until their IR player comes off of IR after they're healthy again.

What kind of notification will there be when they are healthy? Will it just be based on the "green/yellow/red" icon next to the player's name?

this is great news. Nice work.

Ithink there should be an option to just put a non injured player on IR but you have to keep them there for the rest of the season. This will be mainly for dynasty leagues, but its like the NFL when they dont wanna cut a rookie so they IR him so they can keep him till next year.

This is feature is now live. You can add IR spots to your league's roster requirements.

A player is eligible for IR if they have an NFL injury status of OUT, or IR.

Placing a player on your roster's IR will free up his roster spot for a new acquisition.

When the player's real-life NFL status changes such that he is no longer eligible for your fantasy roster's IR, you will not be allowed to make any transactions until the player is removed from your roster's IR.

can we make it so a commish can adjust the IR so people can have a doubtful or even questionable player on IR or is that too much like having an extra roster spot

fleafounder Admin Fri 5/2/08 6:06 PM

Not yet, but that's coming very very soon. I wanted to get the basic features out first.

You rock, Ori! This, in my opinion is one of the few things Fleaflicker was missing. Stuck with it though cause it's a great site nonetheless!

Thanks Ori!

Can the rule be made to include only players on an NFL IR list, and not players listed as OUT?

Also, what if a player is listed as OUT on Thursday, I put him on IR, and then on Saturday he is upgraded to DOUBTFUL?

fleafounder Admin Fri 5/2/08 6:07 PM

Again, not yet but I will add that feature soon.

fleafounder Admin Tue 4/29/08 1:48 PM

It's implemented but still being tested. Expect it to be released within a week.

madskillzplayer Tue 6/10/08 10:30 PM

I guess I'm a bit confused. When a player is on IR, why not just drop him and add another player in his place?

Broflowski Wed 6/11/08 6:56 AM

Because if it's a great player that you don't want to drop and make available to everyone, put him on IR for a few weeks so he stays on your roster.

madskillzplayer Wed 6/11/08 10:18 AM

Why not just add 2 bench spots instead? The whole purpose of IR is that the player is done for the year...

Broflowski Wed 6/11/08 10:28 AM

Dude, if you don't like it don't use it. But other people like and have wanted it for a while.

madskillzplayer Wed 6/11/08 7:51 PM

It's not that I don't like it, I just don't understand it. I am attempting to grasp the concept of it instead of adding bench players

[Deleted User] Thu 6/12/08 10:22 AM

The concept is that you're only allowed to use the spot or spots if you have a player you want to keep that will be unable to play for an extended period. If you just add bench spots, teams just stockpile players and there is no one out there in the free agent pool. So it adds a little bit of flexibility in case of a major injury without compromising the free agent pool. Make sense?

madskillzplayer Thu 6/12/08 1:50 PM

Can anyone be put on IR or are their real life requirements?

Broflowski Thu 6/12/08 1:52 PM

They must be on the NFL "injured list". But I'm not sure how that works since some teams list EVERY player as injured *cough*

madskillzplayer Thu 6/12/08 6:36 PM

Yeah, like Tom Brady was on the list every week last season
