Giroux managed two assists in Wednesday's 5-3 win over the Penguins.

Giroux now has two goals and seven assists through his first seven games, and seems to have picked up right where he left off last season. He and linemate Jakub Voracek each have nine points so far, and are proving to be one of the best fantasy duos in the league so far.

Giroux scored and collected an assist in Saturday's 6-5 win over Dallas.

Giroux (lower body) will make his preseason debut Tuesday night.

Giroux will return to action 11 days after suffering a lower body injury on the first day of training camp. He will have just over a week to get back in playing shape, so it seems likely he will be good to go when the Flyers kick off their season a week from Wednesday.

Giroux (lower body) will skate Tuesday morning and remains a possibility to play in the Flyers' preseason game against the Rangers on Tuesday, Tim Panaccio of CSN Philadelphia reports.

Giroux was originally expected to miss up to two weeks when he suffered the injury on the first day of training camp so he may play in the Flyers' remaining preseason games. If he does not play in the game on Tuesday, he is expected to return to action on Thursday when the Flyers play the Capitals. Giroux has average at least one point per game in the last three seasons, so Giroux will remain a top fantasy option once he returns from his injury, which seems like it will be soon.

Giroux (lower body) made a surprise return to practice Thursday, participating in a limited capacity, Sam Carchidi of the Philadelphia Inquirer reports.

Just six days after suffering an injury that was expected to keep him off the ice for two weeks, Giroux skated gingerly around the rink Thursday, passing the puck around to teammates and attempting a few shots. While the Flyers won't rush him back into preseason action immediately, Giroux looks like he's ahead of schedule in his recovery. There would seem to be a great chance that he's skating at close to full health before the team's Oct. 8 opener.

Giroux is expected to miss the next two weeks with a lower-body injury, The Record reports.

Considering that the Flyers' opening game isn't until Oct. 9, Giroux doesn't seem to be in danger of starting the season on the bench. However, he'll miss a substantial part of training camp and may suffer in terms of conditioning. With updates to come, the 26-year-old still seems to be a valuable addition at this point.

That being said, the Ottawa Police can't comment on an incident were charges aren't made and they previously stated that they don't expect any charges to be filed against Giroux.
