Tyutin will become part of the Blue Jackets' hockey operations team, ending his professional career, the club announced Monday.
EDGE Analysis
Tyutin didn't play anywhere last season after spending the 2016-17 campaign with Colorado. In 872 NHL games -- primarily with Columbus -- the Russian racked up 55 goals, 209 assists and 548 PIM. Selected by the Rangers with the 40th pick of the 2001 NHL Draft, the blueliner enjoyed a 13-year career that included stints in the KHL.

Tyutin (groin) is likely to suit up for Tuesday's game against the Canadiens, Terry Frei of the Denver Post reports.
EDGE Analysis
We'll be sure to update Tyutin's status prior to puck drop if he's actually scratched from the game, but either way he shouldn't be considered for the majority of fantasy lineups. Just a reminder -- the Russian blueliner hasn't netted a goal or even recorded a point in almost two months.

Tyutin (groin) is questionable for Tuesday's matchup with Montreal.
EDGE Analysis
Tyutin has missed three straight games, although most owners probably didn't even notice considering has was on a 17-game pointless streak prior to getting hurt. Given his limited scoring, the blueliner is unlikely to offer enough fantasy value through his ancillary stats -- 83 hits and 53 blocked shots -- to make him worth a look in most formats.

Tyutin (groin) won't play in Saturday's game against Winnipeg.
EDGE Analysis
The 33-year-old has missed both of Colorado's games since the All-Star break and will push that to three on Saturday. With eight points in 40 games, the blueliner isn't much of a fantasy producer in most leagues despite playing 19:16 per game. His next chance to get into the lineup will come Thursday against Pittsburgh.

Tyutin (groin) will not play in Wednesdays game against the Kings, Mike Chambers of the Denver Post reports.
EDGE Analysis
With just eight points over 40 contests this season and a minus-19 rating, Tyutin doesn't provide much fantasy upside even when he's in the lineup. Fortunately, the club regained the services of fellow blueliner Tyson Barrie on the same night they lost Tyutin, giving the team the necessary numbers among the defensive ranks. When the veteran rejoins the lineup, Patrick Wiercioch would be the top candidate to be scratched.

Tyutin will miss Tuesday night's game in Anaheim due to a groin injury.
EDGE Analysis
It's unclear when Tyutin sustained the injury, but it's possible that he tweaked something during Monday's practice, the first since the All-Star break. The Russian blueliner has not recorded a point since Dec. 16, so he probably should not be rostered in the grand majority of fantasy formats anyhow.

Tyutin has just a single point in his last 16 games, skating to a minus-13 during that span.
EDGE Analysis
The veteran rearguard has managed eight points in 33 games this year, which is actually a marked improvement over the three in 61 contests last season in Columbus, but he's been absolutely awful since the beginning of December. Prior to the drought, Tyutin recorded a four-game assist streak, which clearly was an anomaly given his unspectacular play since. Despite his struggles, the blueliner is currently skating on the Avs' top pair while averaging 19:02 of ice time, which speaks to just how horrible of a season it's been for the league's worst team.

Tyutin scored a second-period goal and received 17:41 of ice time during Friday's loss to Florida.
EDGE Analysis
It was Tyutin's first goal of the season, and with just two goals and 11 points through 84 games over the past two years, he doesn't bring a lot of fantasy value to the table. Additionally, the 33-year-old veteran has averaged under a shot per game (0.66) through his past three seasons. You should be aiming higher in all fantasy settings.

Tyutin (lower body) will return to the lineup Thursday night against the Bruins, Mike Chambers of The Denver Post reports.
EDGE Analysis
Tyutin rarely shoots and has a minus-5 rating in 18 games, but the 33-year-old is up to seven helpers in that span. If that's a category for which you need fantasy points, then you're likely to get Tyutin on the cheap considering he's a one-dimensional skater.

Tyutin (lower body) has been ruled out of Tuesday night's road game in Nashville, Robby Stanley of NHL.com reports.
EDGE Analysis
Tyutin misses his second straight game to the mystery ailment. With the Colorado defense reeling from the losses of Tyutin and Erik Johnson (leg), the recently acquired Cody Goloubef could be in line for his first significant work of the season Tuesday.
