Filppula scored the game-winning goal in Game 5 Sunday against the Rangers.

It was the third goal of the postseason for Filppula, who has racked up four points in his last three games. Skating with Steve Stamkos, Filppula is having a decent postseason, notching 10 points in 18 games. He doesn't shoot much, but when he does, it can be lethal. Filppula's struck twice on the power play this postseason and is averaging 20:30 of ice time, making him a reliable scoring option who has helped Tampa Bay grab a 3-2 stranglehold on their series against the Rangers.

Filppula recorded a pair of assists in Monday's Game 2 win over the Rangers.

The two-assist game was Filppula's third multi-point effort of the playoffs as he's now up to eight points in the postseason. He started off each of the first two rounds hot, but he failed to work his way onto the scoresheet after Game 2 against both the Red Wings and Canadiens, so he'll look to keep up his production as the series shifts to Tampa on Wednesday.

Filppula picked up a power-play goal and two assists in Sunday's Game 2 win over the Canadiens.

Filppula ended the first round series off the scoresheet, but he's gotten off to a strong start against Montreal as he's recorded four points through the first two games, including Sunday as he tied his season high with three points. He struggled to gather points at the end of the regular season though, so it may be difficult to rely on him for the remainder of the playoffs until he can show more consistent production.

Filppula scored a goal and added an assist in Saturday's Game 2 win over the Red Wings.

He'd gone without a goal for 12 games prior to Saturday and has just two in his last 29. He has taken on a different role for the Bolts this season, especially in the second half, and hasn't been counted on for scoring. But contributions like this will go far as the Bolts push toward June.

Filppula gathered a power-play assist in Thursday's loss to the Senators.

Points have been extremely scarce for Filppula of late, as the forward has collected a goal and three assists since the beginning of March. A drop in ice time hasn't accompanied the drop in productivity just yet, but it's tough to justify keeping him active until he starts scoring with more regularity.

Filppula scored a power-play goal in Monday's win over Montreal. The goal snapped a 15-game goal drought.

He does have eight assists in those 15 games, but just four in his last 13. His fantasy value has taken a hit with the emergence of so many young forwards in Tampa Bay. At this point, he's a marginal activation unless you're in the deepest of formats.

Filppula chipped in an assist and won 13 of 20 faceoffs in Friday's 4-0 victory over the Blackhawks.

Filppula's helper came on a third-period power-play opportunity, when Ryan Callahan redirected the center's pass into the net to give the Bolts a 3-0 lead. The 30-year-old has accumulated a goal and nine assists over his last nine contests.

Filppula extended his current point streak to four games and seven points, including six assists, after picking up two helpers in a win over the Sharks on Sunday night. This streak snuck up on us -- he'd been a bit cool up to that point. Stick him in and let it ride. It's about time.

Filppula scored a goal and added two assists in Sunday's win over Anaheim.

Filppula has disappointed many of his owners, but he's actually playing at a 55-point pace. We'd like more goals, but the Bolts' youngsters have really stepped up and that has adjusted his role. Still, he provides depth scoring.

Filppula picked up a goal and added an assist in Tuesday's win over the Canucks. He has three points in his last two games and six points (two goals, four assists) in his last seven games.

He is quietly chugging along at close to last season's 58-point pace, but this year's output is weighted more to playmaking than sniping. Just keep an eye on that plus-minus -- he's cruising at minus-8 on the season.
