Myers (lower body) could be available against Colorado on Wednesday, Brendan Batchelor of Sportsnet 650 reports.

EDGE Analysis

Coach Rick Tocchet wouldn't go so far as to confirm Myers will be in action Wednesday, but the blueliner seems to be trending in the right direction. Prior to his four-game absence, the Houston native was finding his offensive stride with four points in his last seven outings while averaging 17:35 of ice time.

Myers (lower body) was announced as week-to-week following Saturday's practice, Elliotte Friedman of Sportsnet reports.

EDGE Analysis

Myers was presumably injured Thursday versus the Kings -- he saw just 14:19 of ice time in that contest. The 34-year-old has been steady in a second-pairing role. Myers' absence likely means Noah Juulsen will stick in the top four and Mark Friedman should be expected to enter the lineup on the third pairing.

Myers posted an assist, four shots on goal, two blocked shots and two PIM in Tuesday's 4-3 overtime loss to the Penguins.

Myers set up a J.T. Miller tally early in the first period. This was Myers' third point over the last four contests after picking up just one helper in a 14-game span from Jan. 11 to Feb. 15. The defenseman has 22 points -- his most in five years with the Canucks -- and he's added 109 blocked shots, 85 hits, 61 shots on net, 59 PIM and a plus-14 rating through 59 appearances. Myers should continue to see top-four usage, and his well-rounded numbers make him a viable depth option in fantasy.

Myers scored a goal and added two PIM in Saturday's 4-2 loss to the Jets.

Myers took a penalty in the first period, but the Canucks were able to kill it off. He made up for that mistake by picking off a pass and slotting home a backhanded shot for the game-tying goal at 14:19 of the second period. The defenseman has two points over seven games since the All-Star break, and he's now at four goals and 20 points through 56 outings overall. Myers has added 56 shots on net, 59 PIM, 77 hits and 103 blocked shots while playing in a bottom-four role.

Myers collected an assist during Tuesday's win over the Hurricanes.

Myers picked up two assists with a plus-3 rating in Sunday's 4-3 win over Chicago.

Both points came in the second period as the Canucks surged out to a 4-2 lead. Myers hasn't scored a goal since late October, but the 33-year-old blueliner has been able to stay productive with nine helpers in the last 16 games to go along with 26 blocked shots, 19 hits and 12 PIM.
