White also might see what offers he can get from European clubs or from the KHL as well.

Ryan White will be permitted to test the free agent market on July 1. He accounted for six points and 50 penalty minutes in 52 games with Montreal last season. The Canadiens chose not to give him a qualifying offer, which makes him an unrestricted free agent.
