Emery will get the start in goal Tuesday against the Wild, Tim Panaccio of CSNPhilly.com reports. With starting goaltender Steve Mason still recovering from a back injury, Emery will get his second start in a row between the pipes on Tuesday against Minnesota. Emery enters Tuesday's contest with a 3.13 GAA and .894 save percentage on the season. The veteran goaltender remains a low-end option in most formats.

Emery stopped only 21 of the 25 shots he faced Saturday against the Maple Leafs, but road the coattails of his offense to the victory. Claude Giroux, Jacob Voracek and company lit up opposing goalie Jonathan Bernier for seven goals on the evening, allowing Emery to come away with his second victory in December. Emery owns a winning record for the season and could be in line for an increased workload in light of the recent back injury to No. 1 goalie Steve Mason, but it might not be wise to invest in shallower formats just yet. Mason's timetable is not entirely clear just yet and might not extend much further beyond the weekend, and Emery's ratios (3.13 GAA, .894 save percentage) are still rather porous for the season.

Emery will get the start in goal Saturday against the Maple Leafs, Sam Carchidi of the Philadelphia Inquirer reports. With Steve Mason going down with a upper-body injury and unavailable for the Flyers' two weekend games, Emery will get the nod for at least the first of those tilts. If he performs well and isn't forced to make an overwhelming amount of saves Saturday, Emery could draw the nod over backup Rob Zepp on Sunday in Winnipeg, but his workload beyond that will be fully dependent on how much time Mason misses.

Emery allowed just a single goal on 18 shots Tuesday and picked up his first win since Oct. 28 against New Jersey. This was one of Emery's strongest starts of the year so far, and it reversed a recent trend of struggles -- he'd turned in five fairly poor appearances (a .900 or lower save mark, and the .900 came in relief) in a row.

Emery faced 34 shots, allowing the Rangers to score four times in Saturday's 5-2 loss. Though several of the goals came off bad turnovers, Emery also allowed an ugly, third-period wraparound goal. His GAA has ballooned to 3.16, his save percentage has dipped below .900, and he now has just four wins in nine games. Emery should only be used in a pinch -- the Flyers defense simply isn't reliable enough regardless of who's behind them.

Emery will start Saturday against the Rangers, Mike Morale of NHL.com reports. Emery will look to snap a four-game losing streak Saturday, but he will be challenged by a Rangers squad that shut out the Flyers each of the last two times the teams met up, including Friday night.

Emery allowed one goal on 10 shots in Wednesday's 5-2 loss to the Red Wings. Emery came on in relief of Steve Mason midway through the second period, but the game's outcome was already pretty much decided. He played well in relief, and is now 4-3-1 in nine appearances on the season.

Emery allowed three goals on 29 shots in Thursday's loss to the Wild, with the third goal coming off Jason Zucker's stick in the final minute of play. Emery and the Flyers were close to earning a point in overtime after Claude Giroux's late-third-period goal, but it went down as the 32-year-old's third consecutive loss. He's made those three starts over a period of three weeks as Steve Mason's backup, and may be used even more sparingly going forward if he keeps losing like this.

Emery will be in the crease Thursday against the Wild, Sam Carchidi of the Philadelphia Inquirer reports. With Steve Mason taking the loss in Wednesday's tilt with the Rangers, coach Craig Berube will attempt to give him some rest by turning to Emery. Emery still owns a winning record on the season, but his lousy ratios (3.25 GAA, .898 save percentage) will make it difficult for fantasy owners to roll him with much confidence Thursday.
