Howden struggled early in the season to beat opposing netminders, but he is finding his form with three tallies in his last five outings. An average ice time per game of 10:29, the winger's opportunities to get on the scoresheet are somewhat limited, however that hasn't stopped him of late.

Howden powered the Panthers' third-period comeback by becoming the first to break through against Pittsburgh's Marc-Andre Fleury at 11:04, and less than three minutes later, he helped out on Derek MacKenzie's first goal of the year to tie the game. A first-round pick in 2010, Howden's seen his development stagnate since his 30-point AHL debut in 2012-13 and is skating fourth-line minutes, so there's not much to see here from a fantasy perspective.

Quinton Howden earned a shorthanded goal in Florida's 4-2 loss to the Islanders on Tuesday night. It marked the fourth time in team history that the Panthers have score shorthanded in back-to-back games. For Howden, it was his fourth goal of the season and his fifth point in 11 NHL appearances.
