Datsyuk extended his point streak to four games with an assist, but finished with a minus-3 rating in Saturday's 7-2 loss to the Penguins.
EDGE Analysis
Datsyuk picked up a helper on Mike Green's third-period power-play tally with the game out of reach, but his line with Darren Helm and Anthony Mantha was on the ice for three of Pittsburgh's goals. Expect the normally defensively sound veteran to bounce back, as this was his first game with a minus rating since Mar. 8.

Datsyuk registed an assist in Thursday's 4-3 win over Montreal.
EDGE Analysis
Datsyuk was able to extend his point streak to three, totaling two goals and two helpers in that short span. The 37-year-old is still finding ways to reach the scoresheet, notching points in six of 10 outings this month and firing on net 34 times. The Russian is still 10 short of last season's 26 tallies, but he's aggressive nonetheless and remains a threat to light the lamp on any given occasion.

Datsyuk scored two goals, one of which came on the power play, in Saturday's 5-3 win over Florida.
EDGE Analysis
He has seven points, including four goals, in his last nine games. Datsyuk may be 38 this coming summer, but he's barely slowing down. His 42 points in 56 games puts him within two points of the team leader (Henrik Zetterberg) who has 44 points in 72 games. He's a stud.

EDGE Analysis
The Russian did a little bit of everything for the Red Wings in the losing effort, finishing plus-1 with a blocked shot and a hit. He continued to put the puck on net, recording four shots -- giving him 21 over the last four games. Datsyuk has turned up his offense a bit lately, putting up five points in the last seven games.

Datsyuk left Sunday's game against Toronto in the first period due to an upper body injury, but he returned late in the second period to finish out the contest, MLive.com reports.
EDGE Analysis
Datsyuk still managed to log 17:32 of ice time, putting seven shots on goal in a 1-0 loss. With the Red Wings currently sitting in eight place in the Eastern Conference, it's fair to assume that Datsyuk will do everything in his power to be ready for Tuesday's crucial game in Philadelphia.

Datsyuk (illness) took part in pregame warm-ups and thus can be expected to play in Tuesday evening's road matchup against Columbus, Ansar Khan of MLive.com reports.
EDGE Analysis
Datsyuk will likely play on Detroit's top forward line alongside Justin Abdelkader and Henrik Zetterberg. The 37-year-old Russian veteran has tallied just one point in the last five games but is still a dangerous offensive threat even in the later stages of his career.

Datsyuk (illness) participated in practice and line rushes Monday, and hopes to rejoin the lineup Wednesday, Ansar Khan of MLive.com reports.
EDGE Analysis
Datsyuk indicated after practice that he's feeling better, so everything seems to point towards him playing. The Red Wings needed to shuffle things around a lot Sunday with him out, but his return Tuesday would allow the club to move Henrik Zetterberg back to right wing and Dylan Larkin back down the forward ranks. Expect another update on game day, confirming whether or not he will dress for the evening's contest.

Datsyuk will not play Sunday due to an illness, Ansar Khan of MLive.com reports.
EDGE Analysis
Unannounced until pregame warmups, the Red Wings will be without their top-line center, but illness shouldn't keep him out too long. The Wings will instead shift Henrik Zetterbertg to center and move Dylan Larkin to the top line, with Riley Sheahan and Gustav Nyquist also cracking into the top six. Expect another update prior to the team's next contest Tuesday in Columbus.
