Erat will hang up his skates and call it a career after three seasons with Brno Kometa (Czech Republic), iSport.cz reports.
EDGE Analysis
Erat last played in the NHL during the 2014-15 campaign with the Coyotes before making the move to the KHL and ultimately back home to his native Czech Republic. Selected by the Predators in the seventh round of the 1999 NHL Draft, the 37-year-old spent 11 years with the organization, in which he notched 163 goals, 318 assists and 148 power-play points. The winger would also make stops with Washington and Arizona on his way to 881 NHL games.

Erat signed a one-year deal with KHL Avangard, Igor Eronko of Sports-Express reports.
EDGE Analysis
Erat made his NHL debut back in the 2001-02 campaign, and has spent the last two years with the Coyotes. Most recently in 2014-15, the 34-year-old played 79 games with Arizona, accumulating 32 points (nine goals) and 48 penalty minutes. The Czech Republic native will now take his services overseas for the next season, though a return to the NHL down the road may not necessarily be out of the question.

Erat will suit up for the Czech Republic in the upcoming World Championships, , reports Sarah McLellan of AZ Central. Erat had another disappointing season with nine goals and 32 points, while sporting a minus-16 rating. His days of reaching the 20-goal and 50-point marks are clearly over at this stage of his career. The veteran is an unrestricted free agent and unlikely to return to the rebuilding Coyotes.

Erat picked up an assist on the Coyotes' lone goal Saturday in a 2-1 loss to the Ducks. He added one hit in the game. Erat finishes the season with nine goals and 32 points, and a minus-16 rating, in 79 games. The veteran winger is an unrestricted free agent in the off-season and, with Arizona re-building, he is most likely destined somewhere else for 2015-16.

Erat picked up an assist Thursday in a 4-3 overtime win over the Sabres. He was plus-2 with three shots on the night. Erat has reached the 30-point plateau for the first time since 2010-11. The decline in his production over the past couple of years has been stark and the veteran winger's best fantasy days are in the past, but he has at least ensured his playing days aren't over and is an option in deep leagues again.

Erat (upper body) will play in Sunday's game against the Canucks, Craig Morgan of FOX Sports Arizona reports. Erat made it through warmups without incident, allowing him to rejoin the lineup after an absence of just one game. He hasn't scored a point through his first eight appearances in March.

Erat (upper body) appears likely to suit up Sunday against the Canucks, Craig Morgan of FOX Sports Arizona reports. Erat still needs to get through warmups without any setbacks, but it look like he's poised to return to action after missing Saturday's game against the Penguins. The veteran forward has failed to record a point over his last eight games.

Erat (upper body) will not play against the Penguins on Saturday, Sarah McLellan of The Arizona Republic reports. Erat has been dealing with an upper-body injury of late and wasn't able to take part in Friday's practice. The 33-year-old will likely be a another game-time decision for Sunday's contest against the Canucks.

Erat (upper body) was absent from Friday's practice, Craig Morgan of FOX Sports Arizona reports. The Coyotes are listing Erat as day-to-day ahead of Saturday's tilt with the Penguins. With the team canceling its gameday skate for Saturday, the odds don't seem to favor Erat playing in the contest. Justin Hodgman was recalled from AHL Portland on Friday, likely in anticipation of Erat's absence.

Erat suffered an upper-body injury in Thursday's game against the Avalanche and will not return. Erat hasn't tallied a point recently, and suffering an injury wont do anything to help the cause. He finished Thursday's contest with one shot on net in 11:34 of ice time, and his status should be updated at some point prior to the team's next contest Saturday against the Penguins.
