Paajarvi signed a one-year, $800,000 contract with the Blues on Thursday.
EDGE Analysis
Paajarvi appeared in 40 games with the Blues last season, notching 16 points (nine goals, seven assists) over that span. The big-bodied winger appeared in 37 of St. Louis' final 40 games after Mike Yeo took over as the team's head coach in February, so it's safe to assume he'll be a regular in the Blues' lineup in 2017-18. However, he'll likely be skating in a bottom-six role next season, so his limited ice time and lack of offensive upside will keep him off the fantasy radar in most formats.

Paajarvi was extended a qualifying offer by the Blues, Fox Sports Midwest reports.
EDGE Analysis
When head coach Mike Yeo took full control of the program in February, he liked the consistent fire that Paajarvi added nightly, and in March he made sure he would be with the big club for the remainder of the season. The 26-year-old winger then played 37 of the last 40 games of the season, scoring eight goals -- including the series-clincher against Minnesota -- and 15 points, with a plus-10 rating. Even with the eventual re-emergence of Robby Fabbri (knee), Paajarvi should be suiting up for the Note in nearly every game next season.

Paajarvi potted a series-winning goal in overtime Saturday against the Wild.
EDGE Analysis
This was the first career playoff goal for Paajarvi in eight games, and one that he'll never forget. He's locked into a bottom-six role, but suddenly becomes more valuable in fantasy playoff settings because the Blues have advanced and there's more opportunity for him to shine.

Paajarvi picked up an assist in Sunday's 3-2 win against the Avalanche.
EDGE Analysis
It was Paajarvi's first assist in the month of April, and just his second point since his two-goal outburst March 23 against the Canucks. Next up is a playoff series with the Wild. He isn't going to garner much attention in postseason fantasy pools. For what it's worth, he did light the lamp once in two regular-season meetings against Minnesota.

Paajarvi deposited two goals in just 10:34 of ice time in Thursday's 4-1 win over Vancouver.
EDGE Analysis
It was a night for the Blues' secondary scorers who scored the the first three goals before an empty-netter sealed the deal. Paajarvi has scored three goals over the last three games and is rewriting his history with St. Louis. He had just 23 points in his first 116 games in the organization; since being recalled in February, the 25-year-old has posted 10 points, including seven goals, over 20 games.

Paajarvi's third-period, power-play goal was the game-winner Monday in the Blues' 3-1 win over the Kings.
EDGE Analysis
Paajarvi is known for his speed and the hockey plays he can make as a result of that speed, but Monday's game-winner was an ugly one. A net-front scrum produced a bouncing puck that glanced off his body for his fifth goal in 18 games. He's been a nightly member of the active lineup since being called up early February, typically skating on the third or fourth lines, but Monday was the first time he was given extended minutes on the power play.

Paajarvi will remain up with the Blues for the remainder of the season, Jeremy Ruhterford of the St. Louis Post-Dispatch reports.
EDGE Analysis
As the Blues made moves to make other young players -- Ivan Barbashev and Zach Sanford -- eligible to play in the AHL playoffs, the club didn't do that with Paajarvi. He's been suiting up on the third line, generating some offense with his speed, but was a non-factor in Friday's 3-0 loss to Winnipeg.

Paajarvi scored a goal and had four shots on net over 14:26 of ice time in Sunday's 4-2 loss to the Blackhawks.
EDGE Analysis
Paajarvi took advantage of a Chicago turnover in their own zone to give St. Louis a lift in the first period after they had fallen behind, 2-0. He's been placed in a top-9 role and has delivered four points (three goals, one assist) over eight games since being called up in early February. Speed is his calling card, but until now he hasn't made an impact offensively. With Robby Fabbri (knee) done for the season, the Blues need one of their minor leaguers to be the next man up and Paajarvi is doing that right now.

Paajarvi will draw into Sunday's game against the Blackhawks, Tom Timmermann of the St. Louis Post-Dispatch reports.
EDGE Analysis
The winger has been fairly good this year, with four goals in ten games in the NHL. With 18 points in 26 AHL games, he has been a proven scorer in the minors, so if he can bring that up with him, he could have some decent fantasy value.

Paajarvi was reassigned to AHL Chicago on Tuesday.
EDGE Analysis
After seven short games and three points, another NHL spell has come to a close for Paajarvi. The 10th-overall pick in 2009, Paajarvi's career arc has been disappointing to witness. As a highly-touted rookie, Paajarvi scored 15 goals and 34 points in 2010-11, but has trended downwards since then. Nowadays the 25-year-old Swede is a depth forward, bouncing back-and-forth between the AHL and NHL, hoping to rediscover his game.
