Lehtonen saved 24 of 26 shots during Thursday's 3-2 loss to St. Louis.
EDGE Analysis
With Ben Bishop nursing a back injury, Lehtonen could be in line for a fleeting uptick in value. The veteran Finn owns a .914 save percentage and 2.34 GAA through three appearances since returning from a personal leave, and with the Stars high-powered offense providing goal support, Lehtonen has potential to reward. Still, Bishop could return to short order, so it's a situation to monitor.

Lehtonen will patrol the crease in Thursday's road game against the Blues, Mark Stepneski of the Stars' official site reports.
EDGE Analysis
Ben Bishop is day-to-day with a sore back, so Lehtonen will take over as the Stars' starting netminder until Bishop is cleared to return. The 34-year-old netminder hasn't been great in limited action this season, posting a 3-3-1 record while registering a sub-par 2.80 GAA and .900 save percentage in nine appearances. He'll look to get back in the win column Thursday in a tough road matchup with a Blues club that's averaging 3.50 goals per game at home this season, eighth in the NHL.

Lehtonen allowed two goals on 17 shots after replacing an ineffective Ben Bishop early in the second period of Tuesday's 5-2 loss to the Predators.
EDGE Analysis
Lehtonen fared only marginally better after Bishop got the hook following three Nashville goals on 15 shots. The Finnish netminder's 2.80 GAA and .900 save percentage are right in line with his performances from the past three campaigns, so he's unlikely to challenge Bishop for the top spot in goal barring a serious slump from the starter.

Lehtonen turned aside 25 of 27 shots in a 7-2 win over Colorado on Sunday.
EDGE Analysis
The Stars provided the veteran netminder plenty of offense in this one, helping him earn just his third victory of the season. Lehtonen had sat out the prior six games in favor of Ben Bishop, which isn't surprising considering the Finn had allowed a combined six goals on 35 shots in starts on Nov. 18 and 14. He'll continue to be a distant No. 2 to Bishop going forward, but could prove to be a serviceable spot start depending on the opponent.

Lehtonen will start between the pipes Sunday against the Avalanche Mark Stepneski of the Stars' official site reports.
EDGE Analysis
Lehtonen rejoined the team Nov. 24 after leaving for personal reasons, but Sunday marks the first time he will start in the crease since then. His playing time will likely remain sporadic behind starter Ben Bishop, but the veteran netminder will attempt to improve on lackluster numbers to begin the 2017-18 campaign.

Lehtonen (personal) is back with the team ahead of Friday's game with the Flames.
EDGE Analysis
Lehtonen may be returning, but he's still backing up Ben Bishop. This just means Mike McKenna is heading back down to the AHL.

Lehtonen will be unavailable indefinitely for personal reasons.
EDGE Analysis
Mike McKenna has been called up to back up Ben Bishop for now. The Stars play Tuesday and Wednesday, so it's possible that McKenna may be needed if Dallas doesn't want to start Bishop back-to-back.

Lehtonen was pulled Saturday after yielding three goals on nine shots to the Oilers.
EDGE Analysis
The Stars came back with Ben Bishop in net to overcome a 3-2 deficit to record a 6-3 win. Lehtonen had been in net to give Bishop, who has struggled recently, a bit of a break, but that lasted 21 minutes. Lehtonen has been solid in a backup role, so consider this an outlier.

Lehtonen will be between the pipes for Saturday's clash with the Oilers, Mike Heika of The Dallas Morning News reports.
EDGE Analysis
Lehtonen will make his second for three possible starts for the Stars, an indication of the struggles for No. 1 netminder Ben Bishop -- who has given up 11 goals in his last two games. Conversely, the veteran Lehtonen has logged a 1.65 GAA in his four most recent outings. Long term, the Finn is unlikely to take over the top role, but might get a few extra starts in goal to give Bishop time to get rediscover his game.

Lehtonen allowed three goals on 29 shots in Tuesday's 4-3 shootout loss to the Panthers.
EDGE Analysis
Lehtonen came back down to earth after holding each of his previous three opponents to exactly one goal. Jonathan Huberdeau beat him twice on the power play in the first period, but Lehtonen got revenge in the first round of the shootout. Unfortunately for the Finnish netminder, Florida's next two shooters both scored to earn the hosts a victory. Ben Bishop's backup has looked much better in a reduced role after posting a 2.85 GAA and .902 save percentage in 59 appearances last year.
