Brown recorded an assist and picked up a major penalty during Tuesday's 6-2 victory over the Red Wings.
EDGE Analysis
Despite being small in stature at under six foot and weighing just 175 pounds, Brown isn't afraid to throw down on the ice. He fought Brendan Smith Tuesday, and has been one of Tampa's most-frequent fighters the past two seasons. With just 23 points, he won't offer much in terms of real fantasy value, but the extra penalty minutes are a nice bonus.

Brown was the only Lightning player to score in Monday's 5-1 loss to the Senators.
EDGE Analysis
Brown has just six goals this season but three of those tallies have come in the past five games. An energetic two-way player, Brown has been a key contributor for the Lightning as they try to fend off the Bruins and Red Wings for sole possession of second place in the Atlantic Division.

Brown scored the Lightning's only goal in a 5-1 loss to the Senators on Monday night.
EDGE Analysis
Brown has quietly picked up three goals in his last five games and he's fired 17 shots in that span. His value is limited, but he is on pace for a career high in points.

Brown (upper body) is expected to play Saturday night versus the Blue Jackets, Erik Erlendsson of the Tampa Bay Tribune reports.
EDGE Analysis
Brown was unable to suit up for the past two contests due to the lower-body injury, but it appears that the three-day layoff due to holiday break has served him well. The shifty winger has played well by his standards this season, notching three goals, nine assists and a plus-10 rating through 31 appearances.

Brown (undisclosed) will be out of the lineup again Tuesday against the Canucks, Erik Erlendsson of the Tampa Tribune reports.
EDGE Analysis
Brown has already exceeded his point total from 2014-15, recording three goals and nine assists this season. The winger has struggled as of late, failing to register a point in his last four contests. The Lightning have three days off before they return to action, with the 25-year-old hoping to rejoin his teammates on the ice.

Brown (undisclosed) is out Sunday against Ottawa and is considered day-to-day moving forward, Joe Smith of the Tampa Bay Times reports.
EDGE Analysis
It's unclear when Brown was injured, or what the nature of the injury is. Tampa's forward group is depleted by injuries, and it looks as though they will have to suit up seven defenseman for at least Sunday's tilt.

Brown scored his first goal since Nov. 1 in Thursday's win over the Sens, but it came into an empty net. He added an assist, seven shots and a plus-2 rating.
EDGE Analysis
It's still been more than five weeks since Brown actually beat a goalie, but he's actually been putting up some under-the-radar fantasy production of late. Over his last 11 games, Brown's collected nine points (eight of them assists), 20 PIM and a plus-9 rating. That's good for plenty of fantasy value, so his status should be checked into in deeper formats.

Brown picked up two assists in Saturday's win over the Sharks.
EDGE Analysis
That's 10 points in 25 games for Brown, who is sporting a tidy plus-8 rating. Locked into a bottom-six role, the 5'10" winger has some offensive skill, but he's never hit 20 points in a season and doesn't see power-play time, so don't expect big numbers.

Brown has just one point -- a goal -- in his last 10 games.
EDGE Analysis
So much for him firing the puck more in the preseason. Brown has just 17 shots in 13 games and just 11 in his last 10. It's hard to recommend him in any fantasy format right now.

Brown has been firing the puck with more accuracy this preseason and it has caught the eye of his coach and his teammates, reports the Tampa Tribune.
EDGE Analysis
He was a top scorer as a junior-age player and averaged 20 goals a year in the NCAA. But in the NHL, he's often missed the net with his shot. Until now. His speed creates chances and now he's finding the top corner more often. "One of the things I was more focused on was getting the shot off quicker and hitting the net," Brown said. It may not move him up the lineup, but his coach, Jon Cooper, has been impressed: "Shoot the puck and good things can happen."
