Lehtera will not join the team for practice Monday due to illness, Sam Carchidi of The Philadelphia Inquirer reports.
EDGE Analysis
Lehtera has missed the Flyers' last three outings as a healthy scratch, so it seemed unlikely he was going to be in the lineup Tuesday even if he was 100 percent. With the center under the weather, he probably has cemented himself as a scratch versus the Maple Leafs . In 17 outings this season, the Finn has notched a pair of helpers along with two PIM, 18 hits and 10 shots on goal.

Lehtera was a healthy scratch for Wednesday's 4-2 win over Edmonton.
EDGE Analysis
This was the second consecutive game the pivot watched from the press box, and he's only suited up for 17 of 28 contests this season. With just two assists and 10 shots, it's pretty clear that Lehtera shouldn't be relied on in any fantasy format at this stage of the game.

Lehtera failed to register a point for the 10th consecutive game during Tuesday's 3-0 loss to Minnesota.
EDGE Analysis
The 29-year-old Finn spent the first six games of the season watching from the press box, and he's recorded just a single assist through 12 contests since entering the lineup. As a result, Lehtera is off the fantasy grid until he proves he can generate more offense and put points on the board. It's also worth noting that his numbers have consistently declined since a respectable rookie showing in 2014-15, so it's probably wise not to count on a turnaround.

Lehtera will make his Flyers debut Thursday night versus the Predators, John Boruk of NBCS Philly reports.
EDGE Analysis
Formerly with the Blues, Lehtera is accustomed to playing with the man advantage; Weal's averaged 2:20 TOI in that spot, so the Finn should be in line to snag some of that special teams action should the opportunity arise in this next contest. Lehtera has posted exactly 100 points (30 goals, 70 assists) in 218 career contests.

Lehtera is expected to remain a healthy scratch for Tuesday's game against the Panthers, Sam Carchidi of The Philadelphia Inquirer reports.
EDGE Analysis
Lehtera still hasn't cracked the lineup, and this will be the sixth consecutive game he's watched from the press box. The 29-year-old Finn has seen his offensive numbers decline in each of the past two seasons, and he clearly has an uphill battle for playing time ahead of him in Philadelphia. At this stage of the game, it appears a forward will need to sustain an injury for Lehtera to see game action. Even if he does make his way into the lineup, he'll probably be utilized in a bottom-six role and offer limited fantasy value.

Lehtera, who was traded from the Blues to the Flyers on June 23, has been skating and working out at his former team's practice facility with eagerness for the upcoming season, the St. Louis Post-Dispatch reports.
EDGE Analysis
The Finn spent his first three seasons in St. Louis, having surged out of the gate with a rookie year that included 14 goals, 30 assists, and a plus-21 rating. However, his production slipped quite a bit in the two subsequent years -- all the way down to 22 points and a minus-6 rating over 64 contests in 2016-17. Perhaps a change of scenery will invigorate Lehtera, but don't be surprised if it takes him awhile to settle in. After all, he's projected to start out in a bottom-six role for a Flyers offense that was inferior to the Blues during his tenure with the Notes.

Lehtera was shipped to Philadelphia in a Friday trade, Frank Seravalli of TSN reports.
EDGE Analysis
Lehtera was left protected by the Blues in the expansion draft and he now finds himself on a new team. The 29-year-old's production has been heading in the wrong direction over the past three seasons. The Finnish forward posted a career-low 22 points in 64 games this past season for St. Louis. Things will probably get a bit better in Philadelphia, but he won't be worthy of a roster spot in most fantasy leagues. Lethera is signed for one more season at a cap hit of $4.7 million.

Lehtera was not among the Blues protected players for the expansion draft.
EDGE Analysis
Lehtera has seen a drop in productivity in each of his three NHL season -- albeit his 2016-17 campaign was cut short by injury. The decision regarding the 29-year-old's status for the expansion draft likely had more to do with the talent ahead of him on the depth chart -- both Paul Stastny and Patrik Berglund were protected -- than Lehtera's abilities. If the center can stay healthy, he could add some much needed depth scoring, regardless of where he lands.

Lehtera will be back in the lineup Saturday in Minnesota, Jeremy Rutherford of the St. Louis Post-Dispatch reports.
EDGE Analysis
After being a healthy scratch the past three games, Lehtera will rotate in as a bottom-six center Saturday. In Game 1, he recorded one hit and one blocked shot, and finished with a plus-1 rating.

Lehtera (illness) is back in the lineup for Sunday's game against the Avalanche, Lou Korac of NHL.com reports.
EDGE Analysis
Lehtera returns to the Blues after sitting out one game sick and is projected to return to his spot on the third line. He'll look to continue his current two-game point streak against the lowly Avalanche.
