Ericsson delivered two more assists in Saturday's 4-0 win over the Lightning. He now has four assists in six postseason games; those four points have come in the last three games.

It's sweet production for a guy who had 15 points all season had two points in his previous 22 games. There was always plenty of potential in him, but he has settled into the role of sturdy, low-maintenance crease clearer. Nice output, though.

Ericsson picked up a pair of assists and a plus-2 rating in Tuesday's Game 3 victory over Tampa Bay.

The second one came on an empty net, but you won't hear the few Ericsson owners complaining. Indeed, there must be precious few, considering the blueliner last picked up a point March 26 and didn't have a single multi-point game all season long.

Ericsson (lower body) is on the ice for pregame warmups and appears poised to play in Tuesday's Game 3 match against the Lightning.

Ericsson isn't being listed among the Red Wings' scratches for the night after sustaining a minor lower-body injury in Game 2, so he should be ready to play his usual allotment of minutes on the top defensive pairing. The blueliner failed to record a point in the first two games of the series, but did supply a total of six hits.

Although he is dealing with a lower-body injury, Ericsson is expected to play in Tuesday's Game 3 against the Lightning, the Detroit News reports.

Ericsson missed Monday's practice, but he also missed Friday's practice ahead of Game 2, and he ended up getting 17:22 of ice time. In the unlikely event Ericsson is unable to play, either Jakub Kindl or Alexei Marchenko will replace him in the lineup.

Ericsson (undisclosed) said he is ready to play in Friday's game against the Flames,'s Ansar Khan reports.

Ericsson missed Thursday's practice as a precaution, but there's no indication that his undisclosed injury is anything serious. It may just have been general soreness, and he should be fine for Friday's game.

Ericsson is banged up and did not practice Thursday, Ansar Khan of MLive reports.

Ericsson isn't dealing with a specific injury and likely is just taking a maintenance day Thursday. Coach Mike Babcock stated the Wings will see how he's feeling Friday and then make a decision for the evening's game.

Ericsson recorded an assist in Wednesday's 2-1 overtime victory over the Rangers.

After closing January on a four-game point streak, Ericssom predictably fell back to earth in February, failing to log a single goal or assist while attempting only eight shots over 11 games. As a stay-at-home defenseman who rarely sees power-play time, Ericsson can't be trusted as a consistent source for points, severely limiting his ceiling as a fantasy option.

Ericsson netted his third goal of the season and gathered two PIM in Saturday's win over the Islanders.

The goal helped Ericsson push his point streak to four games, a surprise development for a player who had accumulated only nine in his first 46 games. It's that larger sample of production that fantasy owners should put more stock in; Ericsson shouldn't be mistaken for a consistent offensive threat for the Wings.

Ericsson tallied an assist and two blocked shots in Tuesday's 5-4 win over Florida.

Ericsson has one point in each of his last two games, but it's the blocked shots and gritty play that earns Ericsson the 20:10 average ice time per game.

Ericsson scored the Red Wings' only goal in a 3-1 loss to the Capitals on Saturday night. It was his first point in 14 games and first goal of the season.

We've said it before -- he's not in the lineup for his offensive chops. And his hits are off his typical average, so he's one of those rare guys whose value is almost zero in all formats.
