Spezza had a goal and an assist in Dallas' loss to Calgary on Monday.

Spezza is on pace to fall under the 20-goal mark for the first time since the 2005-06 season -- a season where he scored 19 goals in 68 games. It's the slowest scoring pace of his career. While Dallas is certainly a better team with the 31-year-old center on the roster, his fantasy value has declined with the move to the Central Division.

Spezza scored his 16th goal of the season and had an assist in Saturday's win over the Blackhawks.

A much-needed offensive outburst from Spezza, who had managed just one assist in his last nine games. Since Tyler Seguin has returned, Spezza is no longer playing with Jamie Benn, which could be a potential explanation for his downward trend in production. He remains a strong fantasy option though, as he's skating on the top power-play unit and has managed 55 points in 72 games.

Spezza recorded a power-play assist and attempted five shots on goal in Saturday's 5-4 loss to the Lightning.

The return of Tyler Seguin (knee) on Saturday didn't seem to hinder Spezza's production. In fact, Spezza saw 18:39 of ice time, about a minute more than he's averaged this season, and also set up the first of Seguin's two goals on the night. While Spezza will miss out on skating next to Jamie Benn on the first line, he'll still see enough action with Benn and Seguin on the power play to make him an asset in most formats.

He finished plus-2 on the evening.Spezza's seeing an uptick in responsibility with Tyler Seguin injured, and he's responded by maintaining his ongoing hot streak -- he has points in six consecutive games, with an outstanding three goals and seven helpers in that span.

Spezza was the whole of Dallas' offense Saturday against the Avalanche, bagging a goal on one of his three shot attempts in the 4-1 loss. With Tyler Seguin missing the first game in what is projected to be a 3-to-6-week absence, Spezza was thrust into a featured role for the Stars. He saw 20:15 of ice time in the contest, more than three minutes higher than his average for the season. With three goals and five assists over seven February contests, Spezza's fantasy value was already on the upswing, but it may only rise from here if he sees more consistent action next to Jamie Benn, who assisted on the center's goal Saturday.

Spezza had an assist, a minus-1 rating, and two penalty minutes in Tuesday's win over the Bruins.Spezza has points in three straight games, totaling a goal and four assists. However, his inconsistent ice time continues to frustrate owners. In the last two games he's logged just over 14 and a half minutes. In the two before that he was back up around 18-19 minutes after having been down around 14 consistently before those games. His ice time has been a roller coaster and it doesn't look like it's going to stop any time soon.

Spezza scored his 10th goal of the season and dished out two assists in Sunday's win over the Rangers.

Spezza is piling up the points consistently of late, recording three goals and 12 points in his last 11 games. Spezza is basically producing at a point-per-game pace now, having been held of the scoresheet only three times in his last 14 outings. While his 10 goals are low, the second-line center is heating up in that department and more are likely on the way. If he happens to be available, he's definitely worth adding.

Spezza had an assist and a pair of shots through 14:08 of ice time in Tuesday's shootout loss to Colorado.

Spezza continues to be a bit goal starved with just nine goals on the season, but he is managing to put up a solid number of assists. Over the last eight games he has two goals and six assists, so things are trending in the right direction.

Spezza added an assist and three shots in Tuesday's loss to the Habs.

That's the fifth straight game with an assist for Spezza, who has 27 on the season. Oddly, during that streak, he's had two games with lower than usual ice time, clocking only 14:03 on Tuesday and just 10:55 against Chicago on January 18. There's little to worry about there though. Spezza is producing and there's no reason that won't continue.

Spezza notched an assist and attempted three shots in Tuesday's loss to the Bruins.

Spezza has now recorded a point in four straight games, marking his second-longest streak of the season. His production had started to wane in the latter part of December, but Spezza seems to have settled back into a comfort zone as the Stars' second-line center. His days of making an annual push for 80-plus points may be over, but he still represents a top-notch complement to first-line studs Tyler Seguin and Jamie Benn.
