Demers has averaged 19:11 per game in ice time through 11 games, and he's picked up two assists and 13 shots on goal.
EDGE Analysis
Demers missed the final 10 games of last season dealing with a blood clot in his hand. So far, he's shown no sign that he's still dealing with that issue. His minutes are down, especially on the power play, but perhaps he's still working his way up to full speed.

Demers (hand) is expected to be healthy in time for the beginning of training camp next season, Craig Morgan of NHL.com reports.
EDGE Analysis
The first-year Coyote pretty much played as expected this season, recording six goals, 14 assists, and a minus-4 rating over 69 games. Demers also logged a career-high 21:08 time on ice per game, as well as being a fixture on Arizona's power-play setup. Though he's not a fantasy stud, in all likelihood Demers will continue to be a solid depth option for next season.

Demers will miss the balance of the regular season with an upper-body injury.
EDGE Analysis
The Coyotes have responded by recalling Trevor Murphy from the team's top developmental affiliate in Tuscon. Demers, who is known as a skilled passer, closes out his campaign with six goals, 14 assists, 66 hits and 79 blocked shots through 69 games. He did skate to a minus-4 rating this season, but that's not too bad considering the youthful 'Yotes currently own a minus-55 goal differential.

Demers (upper body) is ready to retake the ice for Thursday's matchup against the Wild, Craig Morgan of Arizona Sports 98.7 FM reports.
EDGE Analysis
Demers has missed just the last three games because of the malady, but he will retake the ice for Thursday's matchup, resulting in Kyle Capobianco's demotion back to the team's AHL affiliate. He's failed to impress this season along the blue line, but Demers had picked up the pace prior to the injury, racking up three assists in the five games prior. It's unclear exactly who will cede his spot in the starting lineup, but Kevin Connauton seems the most likely candidate.

Demers (upper body) will not be available against the Stars on Thursday.
EDGE Analysis
While Demers is officially listed on injured reserve, the fact that the club is calling him day-to-day bodes well for his return in the near term. The defenseman is bogged down in a 21-game goal drought, during which he has notched five helpers, 23 shots and a minus-7 rating. Kevin Connauton figures to slot into the lineup with Demers out.

Demers (upper body) was placed on injured reserve Wednesday, Craig Morgan of NHL.com reports.
EDGE Analysis
As Morgan notes in his report, because the move was made retroactively to Jan. 25, Demers will be eligible to be activated from the injured list if he is cleared to play Thursday against Dallas. Therefore, this move is essentially a paper transaction and shouldn't be seen as a blow to Demers chances of returning to the lineup in the near future.

Demers (upper body) is day-to-day heading into Thursday's clash with the Stars, Craig Morgan of NHL.com reports.
EDGE Analysis
Demers was limited to a mere 12:00 of ice time after sustaining his upper-body malady Jan. 25 against the Blue Jackets. Before leaving the game, the blueliner picked up two hits and three shots. The Quebec native is bogged down in a 21-game goal drought dating back to Dec. 2 and may need to wait a little longer to rediscover the back of the net if he is unable to suit up against Dallas.

Demers won't return to Thursday's game against Columbus due to an upper-body injury.
EDGE Analysis
The Coyotes will be off until next Thursday after their matchup with the Blue Jackets, so if Demers isn't dealing with a long-term injury, he likely won't be forced to miss any additional game action. The 29-year-old has been pretty good for Arizona this season, notching three goals and 16 points while averaging a whopping 21:58 of ice time per contest through 49 games.

Demers recorded an assist, two shots and two blocked shots through 24:48 of ice time during Thursday's 3-2 shootout loss to Nashville.
EDGE Analysis
The veteran defenseman continues to post modest numbers across all categories. Demers' 15 points, 69 shots, 27 PIM, 43 hits and 56 blocked shots are hardly tilting the fantasy scales in the majority of settings, though. Considering his track record, the 29-year-old defenseman is unlikely to show enough offensive improvement in the second half to improve his value, either.

Demers was blanked on a game- and season-high six shots Saturday night, as the Coyotes suffered a tough 6-2 loss to the Avalanche in Arizona.
EDGE Analysis
Eighteen penalties were called in this chippy affair, but Demers was more focused on trying to secure his fourth goal of the season. The veteran recorded a career-high nine goals with the Panthers last year, but he was self-supported by a gaudy 9.2 shooting percentage and it's going to take a whole lot more puck luck for him to come close to that rate in 2017-18. Currently, he's at three goals and nine helpers through 38 games and 22:18 of average ice time.
