Benn (undisclosed) will play Wednesday against the Flames, Derek Wills of Sportsnet 960 The Fan reports.

Considered questionable heading into the day, Benn took part in morning skate without incident. Coach Lindy Ruff verified after the session that Benn would play, so despite the concern about his status, fantasy owners should have no qualms about keeping the winger active Wednesday. Benn has ripped off three goals and three assists over his last three games, boosting him up to 70 points on the season.

Benn put home two goals, added an assist and fired off eight shots on goal in Monday's 4-3 win over Buffalo.

That's six points in the last three games and 70 in 73 contests this year for Benn, who continues his assault on opposing netminders. He's quite clearly established himself as one of the few elite fantasy power forwards in the game and should continue to produce at a high level for the remainder of the season.

Benn assisted on Brett Ritchie's goal, then scored one of his own 1:23 later in Thursday's 2-1 win over the Penguins.

Stunningly, this was Benn's first goal and first multi-point game in nearly a month, dating back to Feb. 21. He'd managed just six helpers in 11 games between goals -- an uncommonly cold streak for one of the league's best point-getters.

Benn recorded an assist in Thursday's 5-3 win over the Hurricanes.

Benn's production has slowed down a bit in March with no goals and three assists in six games, but his shot total (23) remains roughly in line with what he's done all season. The return of Tyler Seguin over the past weekend seems to have opened up things a little bit for Benn, who has recorded two of those three assists in his last six games. It should just be a matter of time before the goals start trickling in again.

Benn failed to record a point for the first time in eight games in Friday's loss to the Avalanche.

It's somewhat surprising that his streak ended on this night, as the Stars were able to put up a four-spot on Semyon Varlamov. Nonetheless, Benn is still one of the hottest players in the league with 13 points in his last nine games, and should continue to be his typically beasty self going forward, even without best buddy Tyler Seguin -- who remains out with a lower-body injury -- by his side.

The 25-year-old has fired a whopping 16 shots on goal in his last three games and is up to 58 points in 59 games on the season. The top-line forward is a lethal fantasy play on a Dallas team that has incurred just two regulation losses in their last seven games.

Benn picked up a hat trick Tuesday, scoring the game's first two goals at even strength and finishing the feat with a power-play tally in a 4-1 win over St. Louis. His second game without Tyler Seguin certainly went well, as fill-in center Jason Spezza hooked Benn up with assists on all three of the tallies. That's points in four straight for Benn, during which he's rattled off six goals and an assist. It doesn't seem like Seguin's absence will hurt him to an extreme degree, though it's certainly quite damaging to the Stars' overall offense and scoring depth.
