Vaclav Prospal has yet to receive a contract offer from an NHL team. The 38-year-old forward played for the Blue Jackets last season and had 12 goals and 30 points in the 48 game truncated schedule. Columbus will need some scoring early in the season as their top free agent signing Nathan Horton, will miss at least the first two months of the season after undergoing off-season shoulder surgery but there has not been a contract offer with training camp slated to begin on Thursday.
