Upshall (thumb) agreed to terms on a new one-year deal with the Blues on Wednesday.
EDGE Analysis
Upshall originally signed with St. Louis on a professional tryout two years ago, but has shown the organization enough that they are willing to keep him around on a year-to-year basis. The 32-year-old saw action in 70 games during the 2015-16 campaign in which he tallied 14 points and 44 PIM. A bruising winger who likes to dish out hits, he had 92 this season, Upshall should be fully recovered by from his thumb injury in time for training camp.
