Selanne finished with 728 goals and 817 assists in 21 NHL seasons. His many fans included his opponents. The Kings stuck around after Friday's game and tapped their sticks on the ice to pay tribute to Selanne. "We'd stay out there for 20 minutes if we could," Kings forward Justin Williams said afterward. "Everything great has to end somewhere," Selanne, 43, said. "Obviously, there's going to be a lot of sadness, but overall there's going to be a lot of happiness. I feel very special."
