The Columbus Blue Jackets have until 5 pm on Monday to decide whether or not to offer restricted free agent Matt Frattin a contract or allow him to become an unrestricted free agent. Frattin bounced around this past season as the Maple Leafs traded him to the Kings for Jonathan Bernier during the 2013 off-season while the Kings sent him to Columbus at the trade deadline as part of the Marian Gaborik trade. He was a huge disappointment with only two goals and five assists in 44 games in 2013-14. Do not be surprised if he is allowed to hit free agency tomorrow.
