The Blue Jackets acquired Falk and a 2015 fifth-round pick Monday in exchange for defenseman Jordan Leopold, Aaron Portzline of the Columbus Dispatch reports. The 26-year-old was held without a point in his 13 games with the Wild earlier this season and hasn't shown much scoring ability at the minor-league level, either. Falk is expected to report to AHL Springfield with his new organization, though it's possible that he may be added to the parent club at some point to serve as a depth defenseman.
