Tanguay scored a goal, and added an assist in Wednesday's 2-1 win over the Sabres.
EDGE Analysis
Tanguay now has four points in the last four games, and his first-period tally broke a 26-game goalless drought spanning back to Oct. 30. The veteran winger is currently seeing first-line minutes alongside Nathan MacKinnon and Matt Duchene, but his measly 18 points through 37 games should leave critics rightfully skeptical of Tanguay's ability to maintain that role long-term.
