Stalberg was placed on waivers Wednesday by the Predators, TSN's Bob McKenzie reports. Stalberg is expected to go unclaimed due to his $3 million cap hit, but it doesn't sound like the Predators are planning on buying him out of the contract. The winger produced 10 points in 25 games with the Predators last season and looks unlikely to occupy a meaningful role for the team in 2015-16.
