Smith (lower body) was able to get back on the ice for Toronto's optional morning skate on Saturday, Paul Hendrick of Leafs TV reports.Smith has already been ruled out from a return to action for either of the Maple Leafs' two games this weekend, but the fact that he was able to get back on the ice for the first time since sustaining the injury is certainly a positive development. His next opportunity to play will be Feb. 26 against the Flyers.
