Sieloff was acquired from Calgary on Monday by the Senators in exchange for Alex Chiasson.

Sieloff scored a goal in his only NHL game this past season, as he spent the bulk of the campaign in the AHL. Originally draft in the second round of the 2012 NHL Draft, the blueliner managed 11 points this year. With Chiasson a possibility to leave via free agency, Sieloff was apparently the best that Ottawa could get in return.
