Semin skated on the second line during Friday's practice, the Canadiens' official site reports.
EDGE Analysis
Semin, who began the year at right wing on the second line with Alex Galchenyuk and Lars Eller, played himself out of the active lineup and has been a healthy scratch the last seven games. The second line has been the weak spot during Montreal's 13-2-2 start, and no Semin-replacement -- Brian Flynn, Devante Smith-Pelly or Paul Byron -- has worked out, so we might see Semin active for Saturday night's game against the Avalanche.
