Ryane Clowe got into a fight with the New York Islanders' Matt Carkner in just his second game after returning from a concussion. Clowe has dealt with two concussions in less than a year, but clearly that didn't deter him from dropping his gloves. "A lot of my fights are not premeditated," Clowe said. "I just finished my hit on the forecheck and [Carkner] didn't like it, I guess. . He was trying to stand up for a teammate. The hit was clean and the ref told me the hit was clean." Clowe has an assist and 10 penalty minutes in eight games this season.
