Ryan Whitney dressed Tuesday against his former Edmonton teammates. He has played in just six games with the Panthers this season and has sat often as a healthy scratch. "Whit came out of St. Louis and didn't find himself in the lineup here for two or three weeks," coach Kevin Dineen said. "He worked his way back into it last game and I thought he gave us a pretty solid effort. He's a valuable option." He has no points and a minus-7 rating this year.
