Ryan Malone strapped on goalie pads, opposite Mathieu Garon, during drills and scrimmages on Wednesdays. "I don't mind throwing the pads on once in a while," said Malone, who has done it before in a practice. "And we don't have another goalie, so it's better than no goalie." Anders Lindback is reportedly currently working out in Sweden and Malone thinks that more players will start heading overseas soon. "Most of the guys have been talking and from the way it sounds we are prepared to be locked out the entire year," he said. "So, guys are going to start heading to Europe to be able to play hockey."
