Pietrangelo picked up an assist and finished with a plus-2 rating in Thursday's win against the Oilers.
EDGE Analysis
Pietrangelo made a nice lead pass to set up Vladimir Tarasenko for a breakaway goal in the second period. The one blemish on his game came when he attempted to clear the puck on the penalty kill, and it deflected off Ryan Nugent-Hopkins and past Brian Elliott for the Oilers' lone goal. Despite the unfortunate bounce, Pietrangelo is still the most reliable defenseman for St. Louis. He should rebound after finishing minus-2 in 81 games last season and will continue to get plenty of points.
