Perron skated on the Pens' first power-play unit Monday along with Phil Kessel, Sidney Crosby, Chris Kunitz and Kris Letang.

EDGE Analysis

The Penguins are testing out a two-unit approach to the power play in practice. If it sticks then Perron could benefit by playing with what amounts to a top unit sans Evgeni Malkin. At even strength Perron is expected to skate with Nick Bonino and Beau Bennett.
