Pavelski contributed a power-play goal in Friday night's win over the Coyotes.
EDGE Analysis
Pavelski has emerged as the focal leader in San Jose, despite the presence of long-time veteran Joe Thornton, who's been fantastic over the course of his 17-year-career but lost his captaincy before the start of last season and has failed, thus far, to lead the Sharks to Lord Stanley. The Sharks hope Pavelski can be that guy, and certainly he's earned the reputation as a premier scorer and setup man. As an added bonus, fantasy players must love the surprising level of durability from the 5-foot-11 Pavelski, as he's made his way into every game the past two seasons, combining for 78 goals and 71 assists over that span.
