Sekera (not injury relate), who cleared protocols Friday to return to practice, won't be ready to play versus Detroit on Friday, Matthew DeFranks of The Dallas Morning News reports.

Sekera has been out of action since Jan. 12 against the Kraken, a stretch of four games on the shelf due to his placement in the COVID-19 protocols. Even if the veteran defenseman does get back into the lineup, he shouldn't be expected to offer more than low-end fantasy value considering he has just three points in 22 appearances this year.
