Moen (knee) was on the ice for his first practice of Dallas' training camp on Thursday, Mark Stepneski of NHL.com reports.

It's an encouraging sign for Moen's rehab from a knee injury, as the 33-year-old winger had only logged solo skating session's during Stars training camp prior to Thursday's practice. It isn't clear if Moen will be able to suit up for Thursday's preseason tilt against the Blues, but if not, he should have a legitimate chance at returning to game action on Saturday against the Lightning.
