This was expected to be the case, as Methot Man carried a "doubtful" tag Wednesday. Defensemen generally aren't known to be accurate shooters, but Double M hasn't been able to get anything to fall this season -- zero goals on 34 shots -- so the silver lining of him being out of the lineup is that he gets a much-needed mental break.
