Methot (back) was placed back on injured reserve and is considered out indefinitely, Bruce Garrioch of the Ottawa Sun reports. Methot made his season debut just over a week earlier after he was slow to progress from a recurring back injury that bothered him in training camp, and he lasted just two games before suffering a setback. Given how much time he missed the first time around due to the back injury, it wouldn't be overly surprising if another long absence is in store for the blueliner.
