McGinn was dealing with the flu earlier in the week, though that appears behind him at this point. Back surgery thwarted McGinn's chances of making much of an impact with the Avalanche last season, as he was limited to 19 games. Now healthy and with the Sabres, McGinn figures to be a solid depth fixture on the team's checking line. He'll look to build upon the 19 goals that he scored with the Avs in 2013-14.
