Matt D'Agostini is unlikely to be with the Devils next season. The restricted free agent who had six points on the year will not be getting a qualifying offer, which is $1.8 million, from New Jersey. As stipulated in the trade that brought D'Agostini to the Devils from the Blues, the Devils would also have to send St. Louis a 2015 fourth-round pick if he received a qualifying offer or was re-signed. Instead, per the agreement, it looks like the Devils will wind up with the Blues' 2015 seventh-round pick, while the Blues will get a fifth rounder.
