LaBarbera was recalled from AHL Norfolk on Monday. LaBarbera will likely serve as the backup goaltender until Frederik Andersen returns from injured reserve. The Ducks place Ilya Bryzgalov on waivers Sunday, and with Andersen still unavailable, the Ducks will add the 35-year-old for depth. In five games with the Ducks earlier in the season, LaBarbera went 2-0-1 with a 2.61 GAA and .909 save percentage. His recall will likely be a short one, however, as Andersen is expected to return in the near future.
