Krug set up all three goals in Boston's 6-3 loss to the Lightning on Monday. He also fired three shots on goal for the third game in a row.
EDGE Analysis
With the departure of Dougie Hamilton to Calgary in the offseason and the rapid decline of veteran Zdeno Chara, Krug is now the go-to offensive blueliner in Beantown. He's posted point totals of 39 and 40 in his first two full NHL seasons, so it's very realistic to expect an uptick in production this year -- especially given the oodles of power-play time he's likely to receive. Through three games, the 24-year-old has already spent 9:34 on the man advantage.
