Kostka was recalled from AHL Hartford on Friday. With Dan Boyle sidelined for the next four-to-six weeks with a broken hand, Kostka will restore some depth along the Rangers blue line. It seems unlikely that he'll break into the lineup, however, as Matt Hunwick looks to be first in line to replace Boyle.
